- Only 50% of the grade 9’s go through to matric.
- Less than 10% of the learners who pass matric will get entry to tertiary institutions.
- Only 20% of tertiary students will complete their studies.
- Only 50% of adults say that they are happy and satisfied with their careers. Most of these adults say that they will not select the same matric subjects today than what they have selected when they were still at school.
